Accessing Gender-Neutral Restrooms

This page details where and how students at Piedmont Hills High School can access a gender-neutral restroom (GNR).  Piedmont Hills High School is committed to expanding and protecting opportunities for students.  We ensure that all students have the same rights.  As such, Piedmont Hills High School is committed to providing all students access to a restroom facility in which they feel safe and affirmed in their identity.  

The GNR are located at:

• In between the Health Office and the Principal's Office

• The Art building near the parking lot entrance

• In the new science building next to the gendered restrooms

Keys to unlock the GNR are located at:

• Main Office

• Principal's Office

• Wellness Center

• Bookroom

• Mr. Tippett's Room B-09

• Mr. Trask's Room D-113

Students wanting to use a GNR may enter any of the rooms listed above and remove the key from the hook.  A reason for using the restroom is not required to gain access, but if a student wishes to talk to a supportive adult, the wellness staff is available.
