SKILLS IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP/MARKETING
Students will gain basic skills necessary to start their own business, enter a career in business or get a head start on a college degree.
ALL classes are open to ALL PHHS students. Magnet students must complete the following pathway:
Introduction to Business
Graphic Design
Web Page Design
Economics of Small Business Ownership/Insane Ink
PROGRAM FEATURES
Two complete state-of-the-art computer labs - one is a PC and the other a Mac allowing students the opportunity to utilize both platforms. Labs are equipped with the latest software, hardware, presentation systems and peripheral equipmentALL Entrepreneurship/Marketing courses articulated with Mission College (Students must earn B or better both semesters) - Student may earn College Credit for all course
ALL Entrepreneurship/Marketing courses articulated with Mission College (Students must earn B or better both semesters) - Students may earn College Credit for all courses by enrolling in CATEMA, an intermediary between PHHS and Mission College. Credit will appear on their Mission College Transcript at the end of the summer after completing the course.
Students have the opportunity to participate in a student run business www.insaneink.com
Students will learn to use a wide range of software - word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, vector based and pixel based editing, layout and more!

ALL Entrepreneurship/Marketing courses articulated with Mission College (Students must earn B or better both semesters) - Student may earn College Credit for all course
Insane Ink/Economics of Small Business Ownership offers Dual Enrollment credit through Evergreen Valley College equating to 6 college units - BUS 84 Marketing and BUS 9 Entrepreneurship
